We got our wedding cake and cupcakes here and it was beautiful and it tasted great. There was no cake left by the end of the night. They did so well with what we wanted.
Ordered my Son’s birthday and it was really delicious and was custom made exactly like my son wished for.The process of ordering was really easy and fast and the cake was of perfect sweetness. We all loved it.
A year ago, we ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes from Cakes by the Lake, and they were a hit! We knew if/when we needed sweet treats again, we would be ordering from them. (I forgot to leave a review last time.) Moving forward to this year, we needed those sweet treats for our baby shower. I was sad to see the store front closed and held off on looking for another bakery, and I am glad I did because they were up running through a different location! The baby shower was this past weekend, and as soon as people saw the cupcakes, they immediately asked if the cupcakes were from the same place we got them for the wedding and had dessert first! Some had several! LoL The flavors are so delicious! I was a professional baker/cake decorator for 15 years, and they are by far THE BEST flavors I have ever had. (Lemon is the biggest hit with our crew)! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CAKES BY THE LAKE!!!

This is my 2nd time ordering cake from here and never disappoint. The design is exactly what we wanted. And the cake itself is sooo good everyone in the party asked when we ordered it from because the cake is sooo moist and not overly sweet.
Our wedding cake was beautiful. Tasted great! All our guests loved it. The family that runs Cakes by the Lakes was fantastic to work with! The pricing was very reasonable and we had 4-5 pieces of cake left over. Their direction regarding size was spot on. Highly recommend!
The strawberry cake they made for our wedding was AMAZING! We showed them a picture of what we liked and they were able to recreate it perfectly. They were open to any and all ideas we had and just overall incredible. Thank you so much for adding to our special day!
Ordered for the first time for an event on Saturday. Everyone that attended loved the macarons, and loved the cookies. The s’mores cookie was a hit and the white thick lemon flavored cookies. Everyone raved how these macarons were more flavorful and tasted better than Kelsey’s. I will definitely be placing another order for my next event!

I contacted them about making a custom cake and they contacted me back in a timely manner and mentioned they were pretty full that day, but still took my custom cake order. The cake was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the picture I sent. It tasted just as good as it looked, and the amount of cake we got for the price was incredible I was thoroughly surprised how cheap it was compared to the quality of cake we received.
